Their tops routered and set in place:
Patiently waiting for the top drawers to be assembled and installed.
Sitting like wooden sentinels, waiting for the six long weeks until their wood working god comes home and finishes creating them.

Gary's sink has been cleared of all accoutrement's that clutter it (cleared by Gary, thank you very much):
The car loaded,
The trip to the airport started ...
The trip home to pick up the forgotten Blackberry phone accomplished ....
The REAL trip to the airport completed.
The kisses goodbye, the bear hug.
The lonely drive home ... complete.
And the countdown begins:
10 days
only 10 short days ...
until I follow ...
