Change of Plans ...

Gary was headed to Istanbul, Turkey and Iraq today - but I got a text this morning that he didn't need to leave until tomorrow and that he would only be going to Turkey, and that he would see me tonight.

HOORAY!!!

OK, his project is based in Iraq and he will eventually get there - complete with armed escorts and an armored vehicle - but - he just got on this project and I was not mentally ready for 'Gary in Iraq' so I am happy. When he eventually has to go - I will be more prepared.

What this did was free up his night. He was dying to finish up his table for the guest room:

He is out finishing it right now (putting the finish on) and then will move it in for me to polyurethane the top daily for a week or so ...
