Magic Happy Pills

Since my 'normal' happy 'pill' is in Australia, I have been adapting. Nothing makes me happy like flowers do! And there is nothing like playing with them in PhotoShop and creating these:

Above (and farther below) is a live branch covered with flowers. Kind of like having a cherry tree in your house ... except for the color ... and the thorns. HEB floral department is just full of surprises.

Yes, people, this is what ignoring life looks like...

Lori, each one of these flowers are beautiful! I hope you don't mind that I check up on your blog, I love getting to know you better! I couldn't remember if I have told you that I found it, but I wanted you to know who is reading it! My favorite of the flowers is the top one! What are they called?

You are more than welcome to visit my blog - I would have password protected it had this bothered me! I wanted to confess that I frequent your photography site often and I am amazed by the photos that you take. I am more a landscape, still life photo girl myself but have asked people if you had a degree or something in this as you are so good at it! They mentioned somthing called leisure arts? Please let me know if I have that right since I would love to take some classes (could never be as good as you, but would like to improve).

As for the flower - I didn't catch the name but is literally a stick with all these blossoms and tiny leaves on it (and some wicked thorns). I have two in vases and they are so unusual - I really like them. They were at HEB and I am sure they still have them, you could just go in and ask.

I did like how that photo turned out witht the 'grunge' frame.

I really like these flowers, too, they are unique. I was having a particularly icky day a few days ago and went and bought some new flowers to put in the pots on my front porch. It made me feel better. Something about flowers!

I love your music choice! Every morning on the way to school, Daniel has me play his favorite song... Viva la Vida by Cold Play... we like them!
