Bisbee - Part 1 - Funky Cars

Bisbee was, well - odd. A very old town, full of artists, lots of cowboy looking people and ... freaks apparently. I will have a 3 part blog about Bisbee, with this being part one - they are not in order and y'all (if you even bother to read them) will be reading backwards anyway ...

I noticed they had funky cars.

This was the first I noticed. Cool:

OK, maybe an artist? That got drunk one night, ran out of canvas and just needed to express himself ....
Um, a very rugged cowboy type Mary-Kay makeup seller?

UM .... DOES. NOT. COMPUTE.

Seriously ... is this a car?

We surrounded it like aliens from another planet admiring a front-loading, shiny washing machine.

And still - up close when we could see it was designed out of bottle caps, those half marble type things that have WAAAAY BETTER USES, buttons and pennies ... we were still pretty much speechless:

Yes, those are all buttons down there, the palm leaves are the half marble thingies, and the center is pennies:

I tried to find a blending mode in Photoshop that would let you see through the window. So it looks a bit funky - like that's going to DETRACT FROM THE GREMLINS ON THE DASHBOARD. Seriously - could you drive this with all those dolls staring at you? They probably are all 'backseat drivers' critiquing how you are doing ...

Luckily the owner did not show up while we were photographing his / her / it's car ... it probably would have opened it's mouth and swallowed us whole - or just threw us in the back seat and drove off ...

Seriously - weird does not begin to describe this beauty ....

Except for all the blather up there ... this car leaves me speechless ....
