We decided to go all out 'tourist' today and it didn't work out as well as we thought it would. We bought tickets to Warner Brothers Movie Fun Theme Park online and headed out. The tickets I printed, I noticed as we were driving - were all written in gobbledy-gook. The .pdf file on the computer looked fine - so I was a little worried that we would not get in after paying for the expensive tickets.
We were able to use them to get in. Headed straight for the largest roller coaster:
Yes, Ryan is on one car, Gary is on the ride 5 cars later. Why? Y0u ask? Because the lady saw a bulge in Gary's pocket (his camera) and said he could not take it. Ryan could go, but then he would have to take Gary's camera, cell phone and other miscellaneous things and then he could go. Odd - Ryan had in his pockets at the time of his ride: cell phone, i-Touch, keys, and other crap - why it was OK for him and not for Gary is anybodies guess.
But he was able to ride the ride:

We then wandered around on a 'Narnia' ship:
Watched Batman get the crap kicked out of him:
Thing is, after I took this shot, I put my camera away in my pocket and THEN, a car flies through the air, lands in a building and the building blows up with fireworks going off.
Bad timing.
Which I think was the theme for the day. It was OK, but two times Gary and Ryan waited for other roller coasters and they shut down 30 minutes into the wait. The first they could understand, the second, they were pretty much pissed.
So pretty expensive (especially if you count the Jelly Bellies we bought on the way out of the park that we didn't realize were priced about the same as gold ...) and not much fun, but then it was a huge tourist trap and we fell right into it, didn't we?
We still had fun and laughed the day away and that is all that matters (Ryan ..).

I'm glad it was fun - we went to one in Ohio with Brandon and Steph a couple of years ago that we definitely felt the same - long lines, never even had time for some of the cool rides (shut down when we wanted to ride) and big prices. Lagoon still rocks!
